I'm Dominique, a fun-spirited, multi-passionate girlie! I am a travel content creator and luxury travel agent with 23 countries, 20 states and 50+ cities visited. Time after time again, each destination amazes me and inspires me to travel even more. I want YOU to go on the trip you always aspired to take! I am the owner of LUX International Travel where I plan the most ICONIC trips for my clients!

In October 2023, I took a leap of faith and opened up a luxury content/photo studio & event space in Hartford, CT, LUX Studio. I wanted to curate a space where others can have a space to make their own content masterpieces. Not only do I host my own events here, but I collaborate with other creatives to innovate on spontaneous events. 

I am also a corporate girlie where I oversee a team of data engineers!! In college I graduated with the highest GPA in my major, Management Information Systems (quick flex), which is pretty much a combination of business and technology and a some level of computer science. I was one of the ONLY girlies in my classes and most definitely one of few people of color in my major. I spend my free time volunteering, attending school visits and mentoring younger students to inspire and motivate them to pursue more than what they can imagine. 

When I launched my DommyTheTravelista blog in May 2023. It was solely travel tips and tricks with inspo ideas for other travelers to step outside their comfort zone. Now that I've stepped into my entrepreneur gilrie era, I wanted to curate a place that captures ALL of my passions; from all things travel, to entrepreneurship and career tips; stick around because I'll be sharing it all here!
